The crisis of the twenties

In light of the spread of the new Corona virus, countries have differed in their approaches to confronting this great affliction. We have seen industrialized countries that have followed the path of deception and deception, and in complete contrast, other countries have come out and made clear that the health of citizens and residents is a red line, and between this and that, scientists compete to find a vaccine that will save the world.

Perhaps the new Corona virus has proven that the new world is one village, and this was proven by the speed of its spread on the one hand, and the cooperation of countries in supporting each other on the other hand. Global indicators have also begun to use this virus as an excuse to curb the wave of inflation that has been constantly increasing since the end of the global crisis.

I will not tell you that I hesitated a lot in writing a number of academic and legal articles and proposing solutions to confront the Corona developments. The only solution is in the hands of the citizen, and I mean the citizen in the simple sense, regardless of any other considerations.

The national duty in such times requires the merchant to cooperate with the consumer. The merchant does not enjoy diplomatic immunity, and is not exempt from exploiting circumstances. When the state declares a state of emergency or suspends work, this does not mean a tourist season, or even a justification for raising prices.
It is true that economic freedom is one of the constitutional guarantees, just like equality of opportunity among members of society, and it is impossible to implement one without the other, as they are two scales of balance. From this standpoint, I call on all citizens and residents to carry out their national duty by monitoring the movement of merchants, and reporting any unusual behavior, through official channels.

Tweet:
O great people, today is the Day of the Nation, the Day of Loyalty, the Day of Cooperation. The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock…”

Even with all of the advances our country has made to digitize our economy and infrastructure, the legal process of joining the Saudi economy is not easy.
